Ketubah Handling

The Fine Print

FAQ: Design and Craft

What materials are used in the ketubah?

Each ketubah is printed with archival ink on acid-free, fine art paper. Handcrafted touches are made with either 100% silk thread or 100% cotton thread, depending on the design. All of these materials are archival, which means they have been tested for longevity and have good aging properties.

Can changes be made to a ketubah design?

A lot of thought has been put into the designs, and some changes can detract from the balance of the artwork and layout. However, please get in touch with questions and we will see what we can do.

Do you do custom designs by commission?

Unfortunately, we do not create custom designs at the moment, so choices are limited to what you see in the collection.

Why do the colors on the ketubah look different from what we saw on the computer screen?

Color varies from computer to computer, so despite our efforts to provide the best representation of the designs, it's possible that what you see on your screen might be slightly different than the colors you see in person. If you would like to see the colors in person before you buy, contact us and we can send you examples for a small fee.
