For a ketubah with personalized text, the whole ordering process takes about 6 weeks. Please allow a minimum of 8 weeks for a ketubah with custom text.
This includes time for you to gather and submit all of the information to personalize your ketubah, review your proof, and have your ketubah prepared and sent to you with a little time to spare before your big day. Exact timing depends largely on when we receive all of your information and your payment. Give yourself plenty of time to look at all the options and talk to your officiant.
If you are ordering from outside the United States, you should add another 4 weeks of padding to be sure your ketubah arrives on time. This means you should place your order 10 weeks before your wedding. Because international shipments go through customs, you don't want to cut it too close -- just in case!
<-->Unfortunately, we do not currently accept rush orders. But perhaps we can work something out for after your wedding! It's never to late to get the ketubah you truly want – contact us to discuss.
We only accept orders shipping within the United States at the moment. Sorry!
We accept credit cards and e-checks online through PayPal, which is very secure. If you're not comfortable submitting payment this way, drop us a line and we can figure something out. Work on your ketubah will not begin until payment is received, so just take this into account if you want to mail a check.
The ketubah is shipped flat between 2 pieces of foam core and padded inside of a box. (If you aren't planning to frame it beforehand, you can use the packaging to keep your ketubah flat and safe during your ceremony.) All shipping is done via FedEx and someone will need to be available to sign for the package when it arrives.
Maybe. International customers are responsible for all fees, taxes, and duties associated with shipping to their respective countries. Duties get charged on the receiving end — you can generally check with a local post office to see what your country's rules and regulations are, as all packages are shipped through the United States Postal Service and will come through your local postal carrier. You might also want to ask what the customs process is like for artwork that is being shipped into the country, so you can plan ahead for any possible delays.
